ROSEBURG, OR – An Oregon woman was having a hard time communicating to her husband that sex was too painful, so she stabbed him in the neck.
Andrea Drennan, 33, was recently diagnosed with a condition that makes sexual intercourse painful. Her husband of five years wasn’t as sympathetic to her pain as she would have liked, so she took matters into her own hands.
After repeated attempts to get him to understand, followed by him ignoring any discomfort she had, she took a hunting knife to bed with her. When he tried again, she stuck him in the neck.
Drennan told the responding sheriff’s deputies that she didn’t plan on killing her husband, she just wanted to “show that he couldn’t hurt me anymore.” She said in hindsight she would probably have hit him in the head with a flashlight instead of stabbing him in the neck with a knife.
Drennan has been booked into the Douglas County Jail on a count of first-degree assault. No word on the condition of her husband.
Stabbing your lover during sex is a theme we’ve covered quite a few times over the years. Just last month we have a woman stab her husband for saying another woman’s name during sex, and right before that we had the man who flipped his shit and pulled his woman’s guts out of her vagina.
I can not say this enough, knives should never be included in sexy-time, and for the love of god, don’t say the wrong person’s name.
